Viber 5.0 now allows video calls on Android and IOS – Pplware

Mobile phones / smartphones / tablets are today the election of our equipment to establish communications with family, friends, acquaintances, etc..

Allied mobility offering, most equipment currently provides support for access to data networks and accordingly nothing better that take full advantage of the technologies. Instead of just using the telephone network, why not also make calls over the data network? Already … and now, the new version of Viber for Android and iOS already allows video calls

After Google announced support for audio calls to Hangouts, the team responsible for Viber announced and released yesterday Viber 5.0 whose main novelty possibility for users to carry out video calls .

This new version has a totally revamped interface and allows easily add friends by entering their Viber number or via a QR code.

For the video calls in the case of Android, these are only supported on devices that run Android 4.0 or higher. The video calls can even be transferred between Android / iOS device and your computer.

Talmon Marco CEO of Rakuten, also said that by the end of the year will be announced three major new developments on the platform.
