Does anyone still remember the mobile phones clamshell? If many of the answers are negative, the truth is that we will not wonder, since this format – formerly very popular – is more than dead these days. But Samsung seems to have solved resurrect it with the Samsung Galaxy Folder an Android phone in clamshell, equipped with an alphanumeric keypad, similar to mobile Jackie Chan, and also Android clamshell, the South Korean company launched the market in 2012.
The Samsung Galaxy Folder is, at least for now, exclusive of the Korean market. The odds that it will be released in Europe or in the U.S. market, however, appear to be very low.
Not many details are known regarding the Samsung Galaxy Folder, such as prices and specs, but here’s what we know about this Android phone: dual-core SnapDragon S4, WVGA small (maybe not greater than 3 inches, 800 x 480px) and LTE support.
