The new Google Nexus 7 is lighter and thinner than its predecessor, but retains the same characteristics that made him a tablet success: technical specifications powerful allies affordable

Google yesterday introduced the second generation of its popular 7-inch tablet, the Google Nexus 7. Result of a successful collaboration with Asus, responsible for the production of equipment, the new tablet is essentially based on the proposal that made its predecessor so popular: good technical specifications combined with affordable prices and the latest software from the U.S. giant.

For the first Nexus 7, the new tablet from Google presents an improved display and a superior processing power: the screen has a very high resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with a density of 320 pixels per inch, which is currently the higher market segment within the tablet 7 inches. The new Google Nexus 7 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean source, includes a 5 MP camera with support for video recording in Full HD (1080p) and updated connectivity options, including support for Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean still

As has been tradition, the introduction of a new Nexus has been accompanied by the release of a new version of the operating system of U.S. giant. Contrary to what many expected, this new version of Android was not the 5.0 (Key Lime Pie), but rather an update to the existing Android Jelly Bean.

Regarding the news that this new version of the system operating company brings, we are now able to create sessions for different users, such as a desktop computer. Thus it is possible an administrator to set different access privileges for each user.

The other innovations have focused more on services than Google itself on operating system features. There was particular focus on Google Play Games, a new service for social games that brings together on the same screen all user friendly together with your favorite games.
