[Samsung launches Android 4.4.2 for Galaxy S4 KitKat LTE-A (VHS ... - Xpert Mobile

Samsung has begun to release update Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the Korean variant of the Galaxy S4, the one that comes with LTE connectivity a. The update is being released for two variants of the device, specifically those that have model number SHV-E330S and SHV-E330K, which are variants of the device for SK Telecom and KT.

This update is available via Kies software, but one version over-the-air should be available at any time. This is also a good omen for the international model of the Galaxy S4, which will start (hopefully) to get the update, before we enter the third month of the year, and probably when we will have the presence of Galaxy S5 (expected to the end of the month, during MWC 2014 ) .

Returning to KitKat for the Korean model update should include the usual changes introduced with the latest version of operating system, such as white icons in the status bar, performance increase (at least in benchmarks), built-in support for wireless printing, support for easily select the default launcher and messaging applications from the settings menu, a shortcut Camera the home screen, the Samsung keyboard improvements, and reduced memory usage.

You can check if the update is available to you opening Kies or via the Settings> General> About device> Software Update menu. If you are a user of the model SHV-E330S, you can perform the download of the firmware update SamMobile section and manual procedure, though of course this is only for those who feel comfortable with the process, and are willing to take the risks.
