Kaspersky Lab detects a Trojan for Android TOR - PCGuia

Analysts from Kaspersky Lab announced the discovery of Backdoor.AndroidOS.Torec.a , a Trojan that uses the network TOR (The Onion Router) to send the data. According to Kaspersky Lab, this is the first malware of this kind for the mobile operating system from Google.

TOR is a low-latency network built on a network of proxy servers, communications, enabling act without trace, which maintains the anonymity of the IP address and the information that travels through this network. This network has “many advantages to users’, since the TOR allows millions of people around the world can use and express themselves freely on the network without leaving footprints.
