Flappy Bird: a game of keep on edge - TeK.sapo

Throughout the Internet there are phenomena Popularity difficult to explain. These days came another, which is highlighted by the ability to annoy users of Android and iOS smartphones all over the world.

The effect Flappy Birds is so contagious that join the bad reviews in applications markets, the same happens in the press. But the curious thing is that the game has become a phenomenon of popularity. Leads the top downloads on iOS and is also among the most downloaded applications in the Android store.

The game is platforming, that reminds scenarios of Super Mario. It’s a combination that is not original could work well if there was also another ingredient: the ability to allow a new user to check progress on the platform, in order to maintain interest in the challenge. But it does not.

The feeling described by most players (also experienced in drafting the TeK by several volunteers) is so irritating, due to the difficulty of transposing the first obstacles. It is a feeling that can compromise the enthusiasm with the first challenge (many) attempts, but stirs the desire to keep trying and has made the game a maddeningly addictive app.
