Android has more than 10 million malicious applications - TeK.sapo

The data are from Kaspersky Lab which also reports that at the end of the first month of the year added up about 200,000 unique malware samples for mobile devices.

The value shows an increase of 34% since last November, as the number of malicious mobile programs recorded just two months ago was 148,000 samples.

The numbers leave no doubt that the interest of cybercriminals attack in mobile operating systems continues to increase, with users of the Android platform as the main victims.

According to Kaspersky Lab, the end of January there were 1,103,104 applications on Google Play, as well as all other existing unofficial stores.
