Razer unveils its Android console – Eurogamer.pt

The Forge TV is the Razer Android micro-console for room-to-be that in addition to running Google Play games is also able to receive game stream running on your PC.

In terms of specifications, the Razer micro-console is equipped with a CPU 450 Krait quad-core with 2.5 GHz, the graphical Adrena 420, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, USB 3.0 and HDMI 1.4 output.

The advertised price is € 99 or € 149 if they prefer the bundle with Wireless Serval command, which can also be used to play on smartphones.

The Serval command is not at all necessary to interact with the console. There compatibility with various mobile devices including iOS, Android, Windows, ChromeBook, among others. To control the console with these devices will only need an application, which will include a voice search functionality.

The Forge TV is also compatible with Google Cast, facilitating the delivery of content to multiple devices the console, such as movies, photos, music and other digital content.

Together with the micro-console, Razer unveiled the Razer Cortex ecosystem, consisting of a PC program that allows you to stream over WiFi or Ethernet games with resulução Full HD and is compatible with most popular brands of components.

The keyboard / mouse Turret is also part of this ecosystem. This keyboard is designed to be used on your lap, ideal for those who want to play in the room-to-be with mouse and keyboard. The price will be € 129.99.

As for release dates, the micro-console will be available in the first quarter 2015, while the keyboard / mouse Turret only hit the market in the second quarter.
