“Google is tyrannical with Android,” says CEO of Cyanogen Inc – Tudocelular.com

Android was born of a project based on Linux. And just like the Penguin platform, the green little robot system was born of open source for free contribution of the large community of developers. In recent times however, Google has been trying to limit that freedom, fighting for appliances with your OS can not have free access to the root. These attempts by the search giant, however, has annoyed large community names, as the CEO of Cyanogen Inc. .

The ROM CyanogenMod has become so prominent in the Android world who has become a company with capital investors, the Cyanogen Inc .. The survival of this company, therefore, has of one’s own mobile platform from Google. The home of Mountain View, however, has not cooperated much, which caused the revolt of the CEO and spokesman Cyanogen Inc., Kirt McMaster. Both the businessman called the giant tyrannical searches.

The statement was made during a technology event in San Francisco, Next Phase of Android. McMaster not only bitterly criticized the Google, but also revealed that the vision of Cyanogen Inc. for the future of the platform development. According to the businessman, his company plans to make available a system version that is highly flexible to integrate with hardware and services of manufacturers who want to adopt the famous ROM. According to the CEO of the blue little robot, this flexibility is not possible with the current Android.

As an example, McMaster cites the Google Now. The artificial intelligence of Google can access deep layers of the system and control it so that third-party solutions never could. Thus, the partner manufacturers could not create a virtual assistant up to the Mountain View. Already with the CyanogenMod, companies would have full access to system functionality and can bring more creative solutions and integrated into the hardware.

The Cyanogen Inc. therefore sees itself as a platform for other partner able deeply integrate Android hardware and manufacturer services. This, however, could irritate Google, since up to giants like Samsung have already led ear pulling get much spoon on Android and other modify the system.

For now, Google can keep CyanogenMod on his leash. Even the custom ROMs can not turn off completely the original Android, because they depend on the search giant’s services, such as Maps, Gmail, Play Store, among others. Therefore, those who try to create a very distant derivation of the system will suffer punishment by Mountain View, which simply prohibits the use of Google Apps by the ROM .

On this possibility, McMaster says no to worry about. According to the businessman, the Cyanogen group may today have a dependency Mountain View, however tomorrow will no longer have. The CEO says that in three or five years, its ROM will no longer be a derivative of Android , will be an independent solution as well as the Amazon system for their tablets and smartphones.

We know that for this to happen, the Cyanogen Inc still has a long way to go. After all, create an independent mobile system is no easy task, as shown in the release delay of Tizen Samsung. With support from other partners like OnePlus and Micromax, there may be enough resources to more terms a good solution for the mobile device market.
