Android 5.0.1 (official) for the Galaxy S4 appears on the XDA – Pplware

As we reported here, the Android 5.0 Lollipop is currently present in less than 0.1% of the devices, too low, that under the policy of each manufacturer updates, giving here a clear advantage to Apple competitor.

Today the Android 5.0.1 came to the popular Galaxy S4! Despite not having been officially announced, this ROM, it seems, is the official Samsung.

After almost three months after the launch of the new Android 5.0 Lollipop, many manufacturers still have not provided this version for their devices.

Who has a Galaxy S4 already can, from today, try out the new Android 5.0.1 …. but attention This ROM initially appeared in the Chinese bbs.gfan.com site, was subsequently published in the XDA site and was not that Samsung announced.

According to several witnesses, this ROM works in GT-i9500 models, GT-9502, GT-9508 and 9508v and in terms of hardware (eg. GPS, NFC, Wireless, Bluetooth etc.) are all working properly.

In terms of language, ROM brings default Chinese but you can switch to English. In the case of keyboard you must install a third.
