Samsung updates Galaxy Gear and replaces Android by Tizen – TeK.sapo

 The Tizen platform is used in the two most recent models of Gear, launched earlier this year, an option which left only the original model with the Android option. With the update that has the original version of the clock gains access to a host of new features that were already present the second generation of Gear.
 

The update also includes some improvements over the battery and the device performance. In terms of features to highlight a new music player, custom shortcuts and voice commands to the camera. Outside of the new features are available that need additional sensors to run the new version.
 

If you decide to move to this new life of the Gear must be alert to the fact that this means the loss of any application or unsupported form of “official” by Android.
 

The update is available for manual download Samsung Kies or via software.
