Microsoft is committed to bringing users of other systems to Windows Phone. The company is expected to launch soon, an app to convince Android users to make this transition. Called “Switch to Windows Phone”, the service promises to help users decide whether the change is favorable, considering the applications installed on your device.

Switch to Windows Phone works in a simple way: the program makes a survey of all applications installed on the Android device user. Then, through a search engine for apps called Quixey, it looks for the Windows Phone apps that have the same proposal. To find similar alternative, the system is based on the description of the app, comments and ratings.

Microsoft’s initial idea was to launch the application today, but the company encountered some problems in the system search app. The Quixey apparently had some delays which prevented his arrival. Now, the expectation is that the “Switch to Windows Phone” will be available next week for Android users.
