The Google maps for Android devices have a novelty. The company is updating the Google Maps application to include a new dashboard with useful information and real-time. the The new panel is divided in three tabs: sites, driving and public transport. In the first, the application shows, fundamentally, places to have lunch or where to drink a coffee nearby. The application also indicates other locations the request, such as grocery stores, fuel stations, atm machines and so forth.
In the tab of driving, Google Maps shows the sites saved by the user, such as the address of the house or work. Additionally, it indicates traffic information in real time, as well as an estimate of the time that it takes to reach each destination. Finally, in the third tab, the user has access to multiple public transport and the times of arrival of buses, metro and so forth. All in real time, based on the information that Google has access to.
