Google launches remote control app for Android computers - PCGuia

Google just launched Chrome Remote Desktop for Android, a free app that lets you control your PC or Mac remotely by an Android smartphone.

This app works via an extension for Google Chrome browser for Windows or Mac can be downloaded for free through the Chrome Store.

When you want to start controlling your computer remotely you must first authenticate to your smartphone over a 12-digit code that is generated by the browser extension which then has to be placed in the Android app.

It is said that Google is preparing a version for iOS, but there is still no confirmation part of the company MountainView.

This is not the first official remote control app for Android since Microsoft also provides Remote Desktop for Windows.
