The Metascan works using various anti-malware library and most applications (74%) were labeled as malware detected by only one service. In addition, many of the files were flagged for being classified as adware, “which is not universally considered malware,” explained the CEO of OPSWAT, Dan Lanir.
Of the remaining 26% of suspicious files , 9% were flagged for two anti-malware services and 4% for two. .
