12 Android features that are missing in iOS 7 - Digital Look

iOS 7 was the biggest change in Apple’s operating system since its first release. Bringing several new and interesting graphical overhaul, the software has been acclaimed by users of iPhones and iPads. However, there are still some things that Android does better competitor.

Business Insider has a list of features that the latest versions of the Google system offer that are not found in devices from rival Apple. Check it out below:

Sharing options limitless
iOS 7 has good options for sharing content, either by post, e-mail, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. However, there are no limits when it comes to Android. Any application installed capacity share will be displayed by the system.

Alternative keyboards
users do not usually complain about the keyboard of iOS, which really leaves no wish unfulfilled. However, Android allows the replacement of your native keyboard developed by any other third party, such as Swype, which works fine.

Customization
This was always a advantage of Android and remains. There is no limit to the look of your smartphone with Google’s system, you can do what you want. There is even an unofficial theme of iOS 7 for Android, if you so choose, although Apple should not have been very happy with it.

system files visible
When you plug your iPhone to your computer, you can see a folder structure and organization of files on your device. You can transfer documents and music to the directory of your choice. Apple does not give access to folders on your system.

bar notifications
improved its iOS notifications center, but Android still allows you to perform some action without even opening the app when a notification appears. Can you answer an email without opening the email app, for example.

Images contact list
The Android enables automatic import of photos from your contacts, or you put them on their own, so that each person on your list has their own photo. This facilitates the identification. IOS also allows the association of photos to contacts, but they are not displayed in the list.

Multiple accounts within the same device
You can set up multiple profiles in tablets with Android, establishing the boundaries of what each person can access that tablet. The feature is absent in the iPad.

Google Now Siri
x This difference is not as “overwhelming” so, since systems are quite different. However, Google Now understand Portuguese and it is better to find Web pages relevant to the search terms, since the system uses Google instead of Bing, used by Siri. However, Apple’s service is still better for other tasks wizard, configuring anything on the phone.

Flexibility in question
multimedia This question can be summarized by fact that there is no need iTunes to manage files on Android. Just drag content to the device and it will accept, regardless of where it came from. IOS depends iTunes to load your songs and videos from iPhoto and still need to access your photos.

Free applications
Another question concerning. Google Play offers more alternatives to free apps, for those who do not want to pay for content. However, as there is very little control in the app store Google, many of them have dubious quality. Apple usually better filter the content that comes to the App Store.

Open apps before unlocking the screen
In most Android devices, you can unlock the screen and cause it to automatically display any application you prefer, which saves a lot of time to run the applications you use most.

Alternatives screen unlock
The iPhone 5S has now unlock with fingerprint, which is interesting, but the iOS 7, the older model iPhone, still depends on the numerical password to unlock the screen. On Android, there are numerous options unlock for passwords, numbers, facial recognition, patterns, etc..

OSes from Apple, Google and Microsoft? (Image Source: Playback / YouTube)

phones have always been part of the universe of the Grand Theft Auto series. The newest installment of the franchise, GTA V, could not be different, and each controllable characters have a different model to use. Grace is that each of these devices have an operating system based on one that exists in the real world.

Early in the game when you are still in control of the ex-thief and moneybags Michael, you can pull the phone from his pocket and see that it is a iFruit, a clear parody of the iPhone. And not only the similar name, since the actual layout of the device and the way the system works is very similar to the real version.

Then we Franklin, a character who crosses paths with Michael. A young car thief who wants to get ahead in life, to whip out your phone, you can see that the device is much like Samsung smartphones with Android.

To close, Trevor, former companion of the moneybags Michael has a phone that resembles the look of a phone line Lumia, Nokia with Windows Phone. The device even has some similar functions, such as changing the color of Tiles by others, as well as in the mobile operating system from Microsoft.

is interesting to see that Rockstar tried to bring a bit of the real world into the series, if only for the variety of mobile operating systems while you pilot a helicopter in the middle of a bank robbery.
